When set, this preference causes all windows that are not reporting the progress of an operation to be hidden when File Buddy is not the active application.
When this option is on, File Buddy preserves Finder comments during the listed operations. In order to preserve comments, File Buddy must get the comment from the Finder, perform the operation, and then set the comment. Since these steps involve communication with the Finder, turning this preference off will result in improved performance which becomes very noticeable for large numbers of items.
Items moved or renamed while this preference is off will permanently lose any Finder comments they may have.
